Should I have past experience before attending a class?

No! We love brand new students and have a lot of classes suitable for beginners. If your mobility is not limited and you can get up and down from a floor easily, I suggest taking the Fundamentals, Gentle, Yin and Restorative classes to begin with. Private lessons are a great way to acclimate yourself towards group classes to feel comfortable with the space teacher, and practice.

At times we run a beginner series course for new students to start together. This is a great way to introduce yourself to our studio space and the practice of yoga. Contact us for details.

When should I arrive for class?

Doors open 15 minutes before class. Please arrive in enough time to set up your mat and props, at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class time. If this is your first visit, you will need to fill out a waiver. Although we are ok if you arrive late, it is not recommended for the courtesy of the other students and teacher.

Do I need a mat?

We have loaner mats and props for your use.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that you can move in. A top that will stay in place while in a downward dog position.

What not to wear?

Perfumes, noisy jewelry and anything that will distract you and others from a peaceful practice.

Is your studio handicapped accessible?

Absolutely! It was important finding a space for students who may have to arrive by wheelchair. If you can breath, you can do yoga. Join our chair yoga class, it is fun!!!

Do I have to be flexible to start yoga?

Of course not. Physical benefits are to improve balance, strength and flexibility. Ignore the deceptive yoga pictures, most likely the model suffers from hyper mobility which is frequently mistaken for flexibility.

What are your rates for group classes?

Our trial rate is recommended and offered as a way for you to see if you like our space, teachers, and classes offered. 3 week introductory for $30. Other rates offered: Drop in class-$15, Drop in student or senior-$13, 10 class pass-$110, Monthly membership auto pay-$45 (cancel anytime you like), non autopay-$50.

How do I pay for classes?

In person: You may show up to the studio before class and pay without notification.

From a smart phone: Download the MINDBODY app, create an account and the search for us under “fitness” and then “businesses” to find our schedule and pricing allowing you to pay from your smartphone.

From our website homepage: Click on the “CLASS BOOKING”. From there you can search for a class, view class descriptions and book your first class! You will be prompted to create an account on MINDBODY (our membership database) before booking.

Are all body types welcomed?

If you have a body, you can practice yoga. If you are apprehensive about your abilities, we can figure out which class is most suitable for your body. Call beforehand or we can meet in person.

Do you have space to change clothes?

Yes, two bathrooms and an office space.
